The Alchmist Review

The Alchemist by Paulo Coelho. It is a fiction novel. This book is about a shepard boy named Santiago trying to chase his personal Legend.Santiago had to face many obstacles to reach his personal legend.Santiago went from being a shepard to being the alchmeist traveler/friend.Along the way he gained friendship and found the love of his life named fatima.In my opinion this book would be a book or store that I actual liked to read because it talked about goals and I thought about what mine are and what I want to achieve an go after them. I also would refer this book for somone to read because after reading this it will help you be more open mined about life an its decisions.

Back Round Music

The scene that I have chosen is the scene when Odysseus is speaking to his wife but she doesn't know that it is him. The servant/ housekeeper had just got done washing his feet. She knew that it was him but she promised him that she wouldn't blow his cover. She's telling him how much she misses him, and how she wishes he would come back. Odysseus kept his mouth closed though, so he didn't blow his cover. She told him that if he doesn't come back by tomorrow , that she'd have to remarry to someone else. Odysseus was very devastated.I like this scene because of the way it happened. I cant believe she sat in her husbands face and didn't know that it was him. I understand that he was in a cover , so nobody would be able to recognize him, but for his own wife not to recognize him that's sad. Her not being able to recognize him is also a time indicator , as to how long he's really been gone. This also gave Odysseus a chance to really understand how his wife feels about him. For her to open up her heart to a complete stranger, and it be about him is amazing to him probably. I think this scene is kind of sad for him to sit her and have to listen to his wife say how much she misses him , and cant wait for him to come home. He also has to hear the news , that if he doesn't come back by tomorrow she was going to remarry. That has to be heartbreaking. Keeping It Real

Today is may 19,2010. One of thing that Iam thinking about today is bring my grade up in english an then going to the gallery or the mall with my little sister to help her pick out her dress for her dance that's coming up that is if I have time. But the way Iam feeling is kind of stressed only because I have alot to do I have prom coming up in two weeks. Graduation practices starting soon. Alot I need to start working more so there will be more money too have too spend..HAHA,an pluse prom weekend comin up can't wait. Missing my boyfriend even though Iam sitting here txting him..Shh don't tell. I really am just Worring about graduating because in order to move forward with my life I have no choice but to graduate. Im excited an so anxious but I know everything will work out so I just have to stay focused an do what I have too make myself proud I worked too hard so this day will mean alot when I graduate. Most of what Iam thinking of is just being happy.

Is it ever OK to invade someone's privacy -for a parent to snoop, go through a child's text messages, etc. -for a concerned friend to look into another's personal life? Me personally think that it is ok for a parent to go through there childs stuff depending the situation.For an example,if your mom happen to barrow your phone an somthing happen to appear on it then I would think they would approach you about it because it may not be thr right thing that you should be getting yourself into. But if your over the age of 18 and your doin your own thing,paying your own bills than I think you have the rite to do what ou want without having to worry about your parents invading your private space. Somtimes when a friend is concern they tend to maybe snoop to much into your life. Maybe its because they care but the situation may not be somthing you want them worring about. Most of the time they do it because they really do care. On the other hand they makke things worse then they already are. Sometimes tryn to help sombody is not always the best idea maybe just laying low ands watching there back is good but in the end you may find out somthing that yuou really didnt need too know that may get you in some troble. My advise would be just know your limits". Sometimes to much help adds fuel too the fire.So for my conclusion you should just know what your getting yourself into if you want to help, an for people who like to snoop just have a good explanation for it. its not good to snoop but if it is for a good reason I hope its worth it in the end.

My Neighborhood

My neighborhood looks like a normal subherb place to live. Lots of houses,sores,and cars. Most people are friendly, but not all. It's ok to live here, but not alot of excitement but it's fun. Somtimes it gets very boring and there's nothing to do, but you just call a friend up and take a walk or somthing.I'm not sure that I would really fight for my town because I dont really like it here. I rather live in a moe exciting place, with lots more to do. Things that could help improve the neighborhood, would be more stores, or jobs, moving the stores closer.More side walks, and buildings.Making it what the community and the people of the community need, being that we have to live there. We owe it to the people that own the community, and also the people that live in the community to make it better.

Bag Of Wind

The topic:Describe Odyssues encounter withe Aeolus and the situation leading up to the accident involing Aeolus bag of wind.Who is to blame for the accident Odysseus or his men? Explain.

Odysseus encounters with Aeolus was very unusal fir us, but very common to Odysseus and his men. Aeolus is known to be the god of the west wind. Being that he is the god of the wst winds, he gathered up alil of the wind and put it in a canvas for Odysseus to make his travel home easier. Aeolus intructed Odysseus to keep the winds inside the canvas until he reached his destination. Odysseus and his men stopped to take a nap. While napping, Odysseus men got curiouse about the canvas and opened it.All of the wind began to pour out, and odysseus an his men were blown all the way back passed circe island. I think the Odysseus and his men are to blame for this accident. I blame Odysseus , because he should of warned his mennot to open the canvas, and I blame Odysseus men because it was not there too open.
